Sourcing your placement

There are two ways to source your industry placement. The first is through your college or school employment team, they will have a number of contacts, especially if apprenticeships are available too. 

The second method is sourcing your placement through your own contacts using family and friends to help you. The advantage of the latter is that you get to choose where you want to work and could negotiate a small payment in return for your time and effort!  

I'd recommend that you exhaust your own contacts before relying on your school or college
